  • It’s actually called Saint Valentine’s Day (I kid you not).
  • In Norfolk UK, a kind of scary guy named “Jack” leaves treats at children’s back doors.
  • In Lithuania and Latvia, people put stickers on one another on Valentine’s Day.
  • In South Korea, women give men chocolates on February 14th and men give women candy (not chocolate though) on March 14th.
  • If you get no chocolate or candy in South Korea, you eat black noodles and mourn being single.
  • You know a Japanese woman doesn’t really like you if she gives you chō-giri choko or cheap chocolate.
